Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church is an Orthodox Christian community in Great Yarmouth, under the  Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, serving the beautiful north-east coastal area of Norfolk and surrounding towns and villages. The Orthodox Church is the ancient and original Christian Church founded by Jesus Christ and  handed down by the Apostles and framed by the Tradition of The Holy Fathers of the Church. 

Orthodoxy believes that the Christian Faith and the Church are inseparable. It is impossible to know Christ, to share in the life of the Holy Trinity, or to be considered a Christian, apart from the Church. It is in the Church that the Christian Faith is proclaimed and maintained.
